After a Long Break

I decided to see if this site was even still open since it has been 2013 since I posted anything. I was surprised to see that it was. Since I joined Facebook, I tend to write everything there. Even my journaling has suffered. I used to go through one journal a year if not more. I recently wrote an email to one of my grandchildren about goal setting. In the process of composing my suggestions, I realized I had drifted away from my on goal setting practices. So I decided it was time to revisit my own goal setting practices. I don't know if my grandchild followed my advice or not. I can only suggest ideas. Freewill doesn't only apply to salvation but all of life. A wise man in our Sunday School class once said, "To do nothing is a choice". "If only" seems to haunt us all as we age. On the other hand, if we had made the other choice, our life would be different today. We would not be who we are today and have the people in our lives that we have. One choice changes everything. Sometimes we don't realize how much one decision affects us and often those around us. If I hadn't said, "I'm free Thursday", my life would have totally gone a different direction. That is a story for another day.
